SYNOPSIS
Not Finished Yet is the story of what happens when a soul refuses to leave a task unfinished.
It is a metaphysical crime thriller novel that holds, simultaneously, the devastating tenderness of a mother's love reaching across the boundary of death and the full, unflinching horror of institutional evil that has protected itself for three decades by eliminating everyone who finds it.
It is a novel about a seven-year-old girl who draws the same three images since she was old enough to hold a pencil: a house, a bridge, and a hillside with shapes arranged in rows at a depth she names precisely. She delivers its most devastating line in the same tone she uses for things that are simply and obviously true.
It is a novel about a document that needed forty pages and two lifetimes to complete. It is a novel about two hundred and seventeen children who needed to be found.
And it is a novel that moves, with the inexorable precision of a Christie plot and the visceral, interior honesty of the best of King, toward a stone bridge above a cold river in November, where a father holds his daughter and she says seven words that contain everything.

Vinay Trivedi is an Indian crime fiction author. He writes crime, mystery and emotional suspense from Ahmedabad, and his stories circle guilt, memory, deception, and the secrets families keep hidden.
I've spent my life studying why people do what they do. The ones who build things. The ones who destroy them. The ones who know the difference and choose wrong anyway. That's where every story I write begins.
I write stories about guilt, memory, deception and the fragile line between life and death.
My fiction is built around a simple question: what happens when an ordinary life is forced to face an extraordinary darkness? Through crime, mystery and emotional suspense, I explore the secrets families hide, the truths communities protect and the voices that return when justice is denied.
Beyond fiction, I am also a consultant, entrepreneur and creator working at the intersection of visibility, storytelling, growth and influence.
